INTRODUCTION

Our aim at In Dreams is to produce quality, handcrafted wine that expresses the elegance and fruit purity of the Upper Yarra Valley. We source our fruit from the most carefully selected sites, as we believe that quality wine begins in the vineyard. Our philosophy in the winery is to take a hands-off approach that allows the fruit to shine.

 

ABOUT THE BRAND

At In Dreams, it’s all about balance and purity of fruit. We select most of our parcels from cool climate, Upper Yarra vineyards for their minerality and vibrancy, and compliment the blend with small parcels from slightly warmer vineyards closer to the valley floor. This helps us achieve that all-important balance.

In the winery, we take a hands-off approach, as we prefer the fruit to take centre-stage rather than the winemaker’s touch. From handpicking in the vineyard, to minimal oak use and bottling the wines unfined in the winery – it’s all about showing off the quality of fruit.

Winemaker, Anthony Fikkers, belongs to a new generation who believe a hands-off approach from vineyard to bottle results in wines brimming with personality and authenticity. This philosophy allows the fruit to shine, and the resulting wines are unadulterated, expressive reflections of time and place.
